I wanted to put a bench on my revolving wall of consoles and looked at quite a few. Some short, some cane, some with backs, some without. Then I though all wood – a pew. No, a really, really long church pew! Of course it took me 6 months to finally find one.
Here’s what it looked like when my mover picked it up. It’s from the old Methodist Church in Alexandria in case it looks familiar 
And here it is in my hallway. All 9 feet of her in French Linen!
I think it’s my favorite piece in the house at this point.
Of course I was on Rachel Ashwell’s site yesterday and guess what I saw under her unique pieces…that’s right.
